Sign in with your Samsung SmartThings account and tick the locks Lock Chimp should look after.

2 Add your stays
Paste your Airbnb or Booking.com calendar link to bring upcoming stays in, or add a code by hand for a guest, a cleaner or a visitor.

3 The code reaches your guest
Already use Airbnb scheduled messages? Keep your usual welcome message and add the door code Lock Chimp gives you before it sends. Lock Chimp shows each guest's code and times ready to copy, and can remind you if you haven't shared it yet.
Rather it went automatically? Lock Chimp can email the code to your guest a day before check-in, with your own note added.

4 Codes come and go on time
The code goes on the lock 5 minutes before check-in and comes off 15 minutes after check-out. You can change those times in Settings.
What it works with
- Keypad locks connected to Samsung SmartThings that can store PIN codes. When you pick a lock, Lock Chimp checks it can manage codes without writing a test code.
- Airbnb and Booking.com calendars through their calendar (iCal) links.
- Your phone or computer. Lock Chimp runs in your web browser.
- More than one door. A code can go on several locks, such as a front and back door.
Before a guest relies on a new lock, do a trial run with a backup way in. Lock Chimp is not affiliated with Samsung, SmartThings, Yale or RBoy.

It never unlocks the door
Lock Chimp only schedules PIN codes through SmartThings. Opening the door is still down to the code and your lock.

Codes are encrypted
Stored PINs and your SmartThings connection are encrypted at rest, and connections use HTTPS.

No card details stored
Payments go through Stripe. Lock Chimp never receives or stores your card number.

Your changes win
If a code is changed outside Lock Chimp, you get a warning instead of Lock Chimp quietly overwriting it.
Set up a backup code. Lock Chimp can keep an 8-digit backup code on your lock, just in case there's ever a problem with a guest's code.
Questions
Do I need a card to start the trial?
No. The trial starts when you connect SmartThings. You are only charged if you choose the paid plan and complete Stripe Checkout yourself.
How many properties does one account cover?
One listing per account. Extra doors on that listing, like a front and back door, are included.
What if my hub or internet is down at check-in?
A code can't reach the lock while SmartThings can't talk to it, which is why you need a backup way in. You can also turn on an optional 8-digit host backup PIN for each lock, which Lock Chimp keeps on the lock for exactly this situation.
Can I give codes to cleaners and other visitors?
Yes. Besides guest stays, you can set one-off visit codes (for a plumber or a viewing), weekly codes for set days, and permanent codes. Weekly and permanent codes can change automatically on a schedule, such as every 14 days.
How do I cancel?
Cancel in Settings through the Stripe customer portal. It takes effect at the end of the paid period. If you cancel within 14 days of your first payment and haven't used Lock Chimp to put a code on a lock in that time, email us for a full refund.
Can I take my data with me or delete it?
Yes. You can download your data, disconnect SmartThings or delete your account from Settings.
